Safety and care instructions for our scented candles
Our scented candles are carefully crafted and meet high quality standards. Please observe the following instructions for safe use.
1. Safety measures
• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
• Keep the candle away from children and pets.
• Place the candle on a heat-resistant, flat and stable surface.
• Keep the candle away from flammable materials such as curtains or furniture.
• Do not let the candle burn for more than four hours at a time.
• Keep at least ten centimeters away from other candles.
• Avoid drafts to prevent excessive flickering or sooting.
• Do not place the candle near heat sources such as radiators or fireplaces.
• Extinguish the candle when only ten millimeters of wax remain.
2. Care instructions
• Trim the wick to five to ten millimeters before each lighting.
• Remove matchstick remnants or other foreign matter from the liquid wax.
• Extinguish the candle by dipping the wick into the liquid wax and straightening it again to avoid smoke.
• Store the candle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
3. Waste disposal and environment
• Wax residues can be disposed of via household waste, provided they do not contain any special fragrances that are classified as environmentally hazardous.
• The packaging is recyclable where possible and should be disposed of accordingly.
• Observe local disposal regulations for fragrances or coated materials.
4. Product safety and traceability
• Our candles are marked with a batch number to ensure traceability.

These guidelines are based on the safety requirements of DIN EN 15494 and the EU Product Safety Regulation (EU) 2023/988.
